The Homelessness Services Association of BC (HSABC) does a Homeless Count every year, usually in early Feb-Mar. Volunteers needed. Homeless people on Denman should participate in the anonymous survey.

The Health Initiative is a BC not-for-profit. It assists individuals living with difficult medical conditions, by financial assistance and education. Call 877-943-9991.

Island Deaf and Hard of Hearing Centre has a branch in Nanaimo. IDHHC employs registered Audiologists and certified Communication Health Assistants. The Hearing Health Services team members bring a wide range of expertise and knowledge to provide client-centred services.
